Default Building 1st slot head guitar question.

Are there any adjustments needed to be incorporated into the neck, body , bracing, scale etc etc when building a slot head guitar rather than a paddle head guitar.

The only differences are in the headstock.

As JonWint states, the largest deviation is in the headstock design. The head stock has some "tricky" details to be aware of.

It's best to use an established design that will provide proper string paths to the nut without the string paths interfering with each other or running cleanly from nut slots to tuner posts without contacting the slot sides.
