i'm not a uke player, but i'm surprised no one has mentioned this, yet:

looks like a top-quality simple uke, and jake S certainly knows his way around these instruments.
i expect that they're very good, indeed, but i've never seen one.

A Hawaiian gentleman has been showing up at open mic lately with a KoAloha tenor. Let me tell you, there is a reason to buy one of these real Koa beauties, especially if you get serious. So beautiful.
