Is Rainsong trying to alienate its dealer network and go the Emerald distribution model???

I second your comment about time to figure out how it works. I found the site confusing and couldn't see how/where the discount would come into play....

There is no Rainsong dealer network here in Europe. I bought mine several years ago from Thomann in Germany. That was probably the only EU dealer (not counting the UK since it is no longer part of the EU). But now Thomann seems to have dropped Rainsong in favor of Journey and Lava Music.

So maybe this is mostly aimed at the international market.
