Dream Academy.
One of the very few good bands from the latter half of the 1980's.
They released 3 albums - 2 of them were produced by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd.
Lindsay Buckingham appears on the other.
Their very first single 'Life In A Northern Town' is dedicated to Nick Drake.
Dream Academy tracks are featured on the John Hughes film soundtracks of 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' and 'Planes, Trains And Automobiles'.

This is a double CD retrospective.

1920s jazz bands. Fats Waller and Mezz Mezzrow. And piano players from the same period. I love that stuff. It's what I mimic when I play them old country ragtime blues.
