Love the GS Mini but wished it was a better quality instrument and with a larger nut? Well here it is.

This a beautiful solid wood GS Mini from builder Sean Spurling of San Francisco/Spain.

Specs are as follows:


Body: Adirondack spruce top, Cocobolo B&S, and sound port
Neck: Mahogany with Dovetail Joint, C-Shape (like a Strat) but a little flatter
Fingerboard: Ebony with EVO nickel free fretwire
Headstock: Cocobolo with ebony faceplate
Tuners: Gotoh
Nut Width: 1-3/4"
Neck Thickness @ 1st: 0.875"
Neck Thickness @ 9th: 0.9275"
Saddle Spacing: 2-3/16"

Totally love this guitar. I have written Bob Taylor 3 times asking for the GS mini body shape to be a new series. The 316 mini, 516 mini, 816 mini, etc.

Yea, I doubt that's going to happen. A lot of people hate the 23.5" scale length.

It might be more accurate to call this a GS Mini SIZE.

With All solid, Luthier built, premium woods, and so on.

I doubt it has the NT neck. What kind of neck join? And you might describe the neck carve/shape...

Looks a lot like a birdsbeak headstock joint, similar to the ones that John Greven so skillfully used on several models that I have the pleasure of owning.
