Not sure the answer to that but I realised that I didn’t need markers on the fretboard to play. Those markers at the top of the neck is sufficient. I feel that the look is very unique and classy with only the logo at the 12th fret!

I've never understood the need for fret board markers unless you are teaching.

Or jamming with others.

Nice collection of Faith guitars here. I have heard of them but have not had the chance to play one.

Best,
Jayne

I am not a Faith owner but I've played a lot of them in shops and at shows over the years - mainly cos they are good looking guitars.

I played a couple of the Mercurys in one shop recently and I really enjoyed playing the Classic Burst Scoop Mercury. It just had a slightly warmer tone than the other models in the Mercury range. I'd be tempted, only it's £800, and I already have two nice parlours.

I felt sure that the Classic Burst Mercury must have had a wider nut, it felt more spacious and fun to play than the other Mercurys. The guy in the shop was adamant that all the models had the same nut width. So I felt very smug when I got home and checked the Faith website and saw that the Classic Burst does indeed have a wider nut: 45mm.

Faith Mercury owners might enjoy this. Just listen to the end. Their blues jam is just awesome.

I just took delivery of a Faith Saturn Eclipse yesterday, which is my third Faith in my small stable.

The set up on the guitar is unreal. There’s a tone of saddle height yet the action at the 12th is perfect for me. I’ve not had to touch a thing and I usually do a set up on all my guitars when I first get them.

The Flamed maple binding looks awesome against the black body. I love the unplugged tone. I’ve not had much chance to demo the Fishman INK3 Pickup which is installed.

But a big shout out to the onboard tuner! It’s the first one I’ve ever used that actually works! I usually use a Snark but this one seems to work a charm!

I bought this without playing first but there were lots of great detailed pictures on the website of the actual guitar and it was on sale at a great price! It’s a keeper.

The photos in the link are of my actual guitar:

Mike & Pete are one of my favourite guitar reviewers. Their chemistry together and guitar skills are awesome! It’s a pity Mike is no longer doing guitar reviews for Andertons.

Hi there, Faith Lovers!
I never played or saw a Faith guitar live but... I am considering buying one, a Natural Venus with cutaway, I don‘t like my only guitar with cutaway and I need one to play this: https://www.facebook.com/RuiCostaMus...762864/?type=3
What can you tell me about it, how is the string spacing, it it more "traditional" or more like an electric guitar?
Thank you!

Just measured my Venus:

Nut 43mm
String spacing at nut 37mm
String spacing at bridge 55mm

Measured quickly so could be out slightly.

Not sure what you mean by traditional vs. Electric? Nut width is 1mm narrower on my Telecaster.
