Also, if you can get your hands on it, this one is extraordinary.
Thanks I’ll see if I can find it locally.

So you like crisp and refreshing lagers and pilsners. I think a good place to start is with Sam Adams Boston Lager, or Gordon Biersh Czech Pilsner. You can actually buy the sampler 12 pack and try other style of their brews. Don’t go with IPA’s just yet, since the hop bite can be an acquired taste. If you want to work your way to an IPA, try starting with a pale ale, like Sierra Nevada.

While the Europeans do a decent job with beer, the UK is all about the ales. https://www.samuelsmithsbrewery.co.uk/bottles/

Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout is in my top 10 of favorite beers.

For a lager, I've always enjoyed Pilsner Urquell.

Be sure to pick up the latest edition of the Good Beer Guide, published by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA). Makes a great "dream itinerary" planner.

Just got back from a local brewery grand opening. I had a flight of 'whatever they're most proud of' / 'whatever they're trying to get rid of.' Good stuff!

I’m making note of all these different beer suggestions and I’m going to make it my “Winter Project” to try every dadgum one of them! Hope I have a liver left come Spring!

Well for winter, you want something malty and hearty like a stout.

Default I Need A New Beer

Right now I’m enjoying a very refreshing local IPA. Look it up if available, great for a late hot summer afternoon.

Actually, Yuengling is pretty good beer for casual consumption. My general fall back if selection is limited. Prefer Belgiums, done with IPA's.

From the Stella family, I really like the Leffe Blonde.

ANYTHING from Ommegang Brewery. Their Pale Sour Ale is excellent as is their 'Three Philosophers' and several others I can't recall right now. Actually haven't had a bad beer from their entire line-up. Nearly all are well above average.

Drink Up and Enjoy!

Good call! That's my wife's current favorite. Very light in color but not lacking in taste or body. In fact, I may go grab one and pop on some football!

The thing I don't like about man "macro" breweries is that they are loaded with preservatives. I remember my first run-in with Budweiser; my first hangover. Never again.

They like all beers, are mostly loaded with water.
