Help w/ Upgrade Selections from BR143CE

Hi all,

I'm sure struggling to find a decent upgrade from my BR143CE. $2-4k is fine as a budget, but I really want the specs similar.

1 11/16" nut
650mm scale (25.6")
A similar thickness body (103mm I believe? 4")?

I've had such a frustrating time with a new Taylor 612CE. I was so enchanted by the beautiful wood, but I could never seem to play my best on it. Just a bit too thick body-wise in places and maybe the neck was a bit different? Anyway, this isn't a Taylor issue, it's more with me.

So where do I go for a 'high end' BR143CE -- electronics installed or aftermarket is OK. Cutaway is nice. Acoustic sound without electronics is not that important, but SOLID playability and neck-feel is critical.
