Woody's RGD material is top notch. He learned this stuff at Brother Davis' knee. Plus Woody's a great guy. It been a pleasure getting to know him personally over the years at FPR.

J-Doug,

I just got the book, and I'm confused on the notation. The song is written in 4:4 time, but it looks like there are extra notes in a few of the bars. Perhaps it's supposed to be that way?

For example, in the second bar it looks like there are 5 beats total (5 eighth notes, a dotted quarter note, and a quarter note). The 5th bar looks like it has 6 beats (2 dotted quarter notes, 2 quarter notes, and 2 eighth notes).

Perhaps this song doesn't follow 4:4 time all the time?

Sounds stunning J-Doug, listened once but it’s still playing in my head (always a good sign, well, except for Baby Shark).

Yes, I believe the answer is simply there are extra notes in many measures. The timing in the music doesn’t really correspond to the timing in the video and doesn’t make much sense. The notes are right but the timing is way off. I like the video but I’m not impressed by the tab.

Sorry. I haven't looked at that book in 16-17 years. Plus I don't spend much time with tabs. I primarily focus on the video.
