I've never played one but I do have a Dean guitar, the Hardtail Select. Dean Z founded Dean Guitars decades ago. He has since gone out on his own.
Just checked out the website. Looks like there's some factory direct selling/pricing. Wow, their guitars look great. I'd like to give one of their Les Paul type guitars a play. Edit: This looks sweet. Black Friday sale of $799.
