Hi Mike...

Thank you for your kind and generous comments...And I’d have to reply by saying “When I look across the shop and see guitars like your’s (the current in a long line of wonderfully crafted guitars being built here in the shop) it inspires me to do the best possible job that I’m capable of doing...and that’s some mighty big inspiration to be moved by on a daily basis.

Just like the Cocobolo build...I've also finished this EIR build. I took these pictures after prepping for shooting the lacquer finish...

That's beautiful, Joel! Should look amazing with the finish all shined up.

Thanks ylekot...when the finish first hit that Koa, my eyes teared up a little bit.

Wow Joel! This is gorgeous! I love the rosette and the wood for the bevels and the way it all blends together. You are making art!

I'm seriously thinking about going to Tom's big shindig in the spring and one of the reasons I would go is to play one of your beautiful guitars

Tom...the closest I can get, is that I’ve been doing this in my mind for 15 years. I’m just trying to catch up to the “dreaming about it” part right now. Thank you for the support.

You made me blush, Beth. Thank you...and I do hope to meet you at the B.I.G.
This one won’t be there because it’s been sold, but I’ll have others that I’d be honored to have you play.

Joel

We’re getting close...
The wet sanding is finished (2000 grit)...she’s buffed...and now I’m polishing her up. Here’s a sneak peek:
