Hey Brent:

Outstanding version of 'Hello in There". Thanks very much

That is the song that got me fingerpicking 20 years ago.

Thank God for John Prine!!

My good friend Shelley and I did this cover of "Angel from Montgomery" while recording some of my own music:

"Hello in There" is my favourite song.

“Hello in There” is one of my favorites too. One of the few songs that has caused me to weep while singing. Your version is right on. Here is my version of Angel. Bonnie style.

I don't record a lot, but I have done a few quick videos since I started voluntary and then mandatory work from home for my staff. It gets my mind off of some of this and, I hope, gives my staff a smile or two. Something they can use down the road to pick at me.
Anyway, today, I recorded an old John Prine song and posted it. Then I saw this thread and thought I would share.
By the way, the 1966 Gibson J-200 was owned by Mr. Prine at one time. He traded it in at Gruhn's and I picked it up from them.
Sending love, prayers, and anything I've got. Hope John gets well.
