It farts out a lot if you put in too much low end.

Yes, that makes sense with the backorder on batteries.

They seem to hold up pretty good to low end but, they will bottom out if they get pushed TOO hard.

None of them (Battery or no Battery) have that.

You might also consider a battery phantom power. This Xvive is an example of a rechargeable unit.

perhaps,

but when you see the price tag of $699 for the battery included ones, one would venture a guess as to why wasn't that spec'd IN verses out??

Bose! go figure huh

Well, I wasn't thinking about it, but just ordered on. Should be a good backup for my L1 Compact.

The one I ordered from Sweetwater arrived Saturday.

Yesterday with the holiday I was able to set up both S1s and run them off my mixer and put them up on the poles.

It's going to be a game changer for my next acoustic/solo gig in about 3 weeks.

I think I'll still try to use the fishman loudbox but just run the guitars thru that off my pedal board, and DI the loudbox into the board and just put a wash from the loudbox along with the vocal mic.

We'll see!

I held out as long as I could and today ordered an S1 Pro from Sweetwater.
Can't wait to try it out next week.
It is replacing an Amp/PA combo that just isn't big enough for gigging.

Sounds like a nice rig Ray. I'm curious what the 2 S1's will sound like and coverage. Let us know.... maybe I'll add another lol

Thats a great point. The Jackery 300 is like an upgrade to battery power for ANY amp. They are a great product.

Received my S1 Pro today.
Gave a first impressions on the other S1 Pro post.

So far, it is just what I wanted!
The 2 gigs this weekend will be the real test.
