BTW, Ben showed me this set along with his mind blowing BRZ stash. He also has some amazing Mad Rose, and Coco sets that were equally impressive. I felt a bit intoxicated after my visit, and I chose a wonderful BRZ set. After coming to my senses, it was too late, Ben had already sent me the build sheet using permanent ink. I guess I'm stuck with my decision.
Me too! That set was my #2 choice but I decided to go with a more "restrained" set of q/s MadRose paired with Lutz. Arum model - in process. Which Brazilian set did you choose?

Nice. Congratulations! MadRose and Lutz was definitely on the table. Ben had good things to say about all sorts of combinations. At first I was keen on doing something with Wenge, but in the end this BRZ set was love at first site. All my fiscal responsibilities went out the window. Needless to say, Ben gave me a t-shirt.

Like I said, I was a bit intoxicated.

That's a very cool set of BRW, Dan.

Looking forward to seeing what all Ben is bringing to BIG III.

Heck, I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone is bringing--it's coming up quick!

Maybe I'm just not seeing it, but is there a link available anywhere with ticket and signup information?

Send a message to TomB'sox, the OP of this thread. He's the host of the event and will steer you in the right direction. I don't think he plans on taking any money in until August, but you should contact him if you want to go so that he holds a spot for you.

Hope to see you there--it's an awesome event!

Definitely look at hotels. I think he had a smokin' deal with a local hotel and I'm pretty sure I got the last room in 2021.

Ironically, we just got an email from someone trying to book at the hotel and they could not find the group in their system. We have called and am rectifying that right now. If you already called, you may wish to call back and make sure you are under the BIG group to insure you get the discounted rate!

Also, even though we are not taking money as Nemoman said until August, the hotel rate is only good through August first so you will want to get that done before then.

PM me with any questions, sorry about this. This new hotel has not been the easiest to work with, but it is an a great spot so we are trying to make it work.

I just booked and the rate still isn't correct, although it's just one of the nights that is off. The gal at the front desk sounds like she's there all alone, so I'll fix it later.

If anyone is looking to bunk up, I have a 2 queen room from Wed the 31st through Monday the 5th (5 nights). I don't snore (usually).

Thanks for that info. It took us over a month and two in person visits to get it set up and for the manager to confirm everything. Until today we thought it was all set up, we will call again Monday! It should not be this hard. She gave us a great rate and we were please, the place is new, clean, and surrounded by Walmart, Chic-fil-a, a WingStop and others.

We will get it worked out. The rate has been promised to us.

Hotel is all squared away "again"! The last two folks making bookings had no issues at least for now. Let us know if anything comes up please.

I appreciate all you're doing for these events. I regret that I won't be jumping in your guitar pool this year.
