SOLD! Taylor 714 Cedar/Rosewood Non Cutaway PRICE DROP!
Life circumstances sometimes happen that cause one to be willing to sell a guitar.
With that said, I present to you, FOR SALE, a truly remarkable guitar! 2003 Taylor 714 (non cutaway) - cedar top with rosewood back and sides - rosewood body and fretboard binding - Koa rosette and custom Koa pickguard - Gotoh 510 chrome tuners - bone nut and saddle Asking price: $1,995 Excellent overall condition. There are two very slight imperfections. *One is the slight discolor right behind the pickguard which was created in the install of the custom koa guard. This was done and repaired by a professional luthier. It is only visible at the correct angle and is underneath the finish (there is no indentation in the guitar/etc). The second is a very tiny ding at the top on the back of th headstock. No cracks, scratches, dings, or other issues at all.* Frets are tall and show zero signs of play wear, they look and feel brand new. Guitar has been properly humidified. The nut and saddle are custom/hand made bone. Comes with new Taylor hard shell case.This is a truly incredible guitar with amazing deep/warm sound. They don’t make the 714s like this anymore! Non cutaway Taylor 714s are extremely hard to find and/or come by. Especially with no electronics cut into the body of the instrument.Shipping to lower 48 states in US only. I don’t desire to, but here I am putting this beauty up for sale. If you have never played a cedar topped guitar, these Taylor cedar tops, especially from the early 2000s are the complete package. And being the Grand Auditorium it handles finger picking and strumming incredibly well. Not only do you get the guitar and case, but I will also throw in a LR Baggs Anthem pick up (~$300 value) that can be installed at your discretion. Friday bump!
Friday bump - this is truly a remarkable cedar top Taylor 714 - deep and warm tone. It needs a god hole. I’m willing to work on price - let me know you’re interested and we will work it out. Any pics request or questions welcome!

That's a wonderful tonewood combination and a shame they have dropped it for Lutz spruce IMO. I think my friend's rw/wrc 714ce is one of the nicest Taylor guitars I've heard.
Someone should buy this guitar... (If yours was a 712 I'd be all over it. Just had one of those in my hands a week ago, not for sale, alas.)
