How about that? I didn't even have to go to Singapore...and still got to display a guitar!
Actually, that wood isn't Pink Ivory, it's Ambrosia Maple...you can see the little (filled) holes where the Ambrosia beetles attacked the tree.
In this case, a Boxelder. It's bound with Bloodwood.

Greetings. In your "10-03-2010, 08:01 AM " post showing the Jeff Yong guitars there is a clear photo of an empty, small, protable guitar stand. I've not seen it before. Do you know the name and where it can be purchased?? Thanks much.

Well unfortunately, it is possible to set the posting time relative to your timezone. So, what is 08:01am on your thread may be 9.01pm in mine!

Perhaps you can tell us the post number? Its on the right side of the title of each post.

Yes, it's the photo at the bottom of post 9 and the first photo at the top of post 10. What I think I'll do is start a new thread regarding that stand and also another one I remember from my past that i'm looking for information on. It will be entitled "Mystery Guitar Stand". If you happen to have any info on the stand from Singapore, would love to hear. Cannot find it on the web.

Steve..sorry I got your guitar confused with another guitar...BTW..steve..that very guitar was shipped from you to my home in Singapore and I babysit if for Jeff for one month before he took it back. A great sounding guitar indeed..beautifully made and a loud cannon..

Hey Jarvis, no worries at all.
Yeah, and thanks for the baby-sit! I was nervous sending that half way around the world, and relieved when it arrived safely.
Thanks for the kind words!

Steve

I want this guitar. Just love the simplicity, the shape of the body, the headstock. This is my dream guitar.

I don't know what kind of stand is in the photos, but the most popular stand at guitar shows for many years has been the Gruven stands.

http://www.gruven-stands.com/

I have several and would love to buy more. They have expanded their product offering and now offer a wide selection of stands for electics, acoustics, mando, etc.
