Collings CW Indian A (Adirondack/Rosewood)—No longer for Sale
Thanks but keeping this one as I was able to sell my other Collings. Happy New Year everyone!!
1 23/32 nut. Cut through saddle. Adirondack top and Rosewood back and sides. K&K pure mini pickup installed. Smoke free environment. Original case. It looks and sounds stunning. $3150 PP gift and Shipped. There are no dings on the top that I can see at all. There are light pick marks and scratches that cannot be seen in pictures and honestly unless you are in the light a few inches from the guitar, are unable to be seen. There is a small ding about the size of a pen head in the stock (see photo) and a mark photographed on the neck. You can barely feel it on the neck but it is there. Again difficult to photograph or see unless you are in the right light. Some fret wear but no buzzing and plenty of life left. Have some medical bills as we had some complications with the birth of our child. Final Price reduction. Thanks for looking! CW Indian A Named after the well-loved Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas, the Collings Winfield is a highly modified version of our standard dreadnought that features options commonly requested by flatpicking specialists. The combination of the stiff Adirondack spruce top with enlarged soundhole, supported by a top bracing pattern based on the earliest 14-fret dreadnoughts, make the CW a bluegrass powerhouse. Everything about this model is designed to provide plenty of headroom and projection for aggressive playing, but not at the expense of good tone. Top: Adirondack spruce Back & Sides: E. I always thought the CW stood for Clarence White. What year made?

The CW is a 2008 and has had a little time for the Adi to open up! And yeah the CW is really based on Clarence White but was interesting to hear nonetheless about the walnut valley festival.

PRICE REDUCED
Just reduced price by $300. You won’t find a better deal on a CW out there. Reverb has one with deep gouges and repairs for the same price.

I sold one of these last year for about the same money so the price is good. They sound like a mahogany b/s D1A, but with a little more brilliance and reverb due to being Rosewood. You won’t find a better flatpicking guitar than a CW!
