Default Rewire Fishman Switchjack TRSS with regular Switchcraft Stereo TRS?

The tip part of my guitar lead decided to get stuck inside a Switchjack. So far I haven't figured out a way to take it out apart from sawing the jack in half.

I have a K&K pre-phase going into the jack. Since it's only a mono signal, instead of using the switch tab on the Switchjack for battery switching, can I use the ring tab on the regular stereo one instead?

This is the one I bought to replace:

I had the same thing happen with a guitar pedal. I used fast set two part epoxy on the shaft tip of the jack and pushed it into the jack to engage the tip that came off. The epoxy held the tip in place and I was able to remove the jack.

Thank you. I thought about that but used superglue but I think the tip's gone in too far, I don't think the shaft goes deep enough to reach the tip..

Will try again with something else.

You could try using a nail that has the same diameter as the jacks Shaft.

I repurposed a dropper into a tubing and applied lots of glue at the end. Went it fine but I think I royally messed up the switching tab in the shaft when I pulled the tubing out.

I just finished soldering and quick multimeter test is promising. No guitar lead plug, ground from battery casing is not connected, plug in and ground from casing goes to barrel. Looks like I will have a guitar to play with for Sunday after all.
