NGD - Collings OM2H
I've been talking about upgrading my Taylor GS mini for a while now, actually about three years, to the point where I think my wife has had enough of hearing all about the new Santa Cruz, Bourgeois, H&D, Froggy Bottom in stock locally.
So on Saturday we went down to London, Ivor Mairants to be exact and I tried a number of up market acoustics. The lovely Irish chap who served me listened carefully to my requirements and then suggested Collings and the OM2h. It was supreme to my ears. I A/B'ed it against closely matched Bourgeois, Santa Cruz and Lowdon (long shot), and then against a number of other Collings but came away with the OM2H. I said to the chap as I left that if only I'd listened to him in the first place I could have been in and out of the shop in 15 mins flat!! The Collings won because whatever I did it sounded just a little better than one or more of the others. Way to Go! I added a Collings D1t a couple months ago and it is so sweet and a great tone across the spectrum! I opted to go with a Burst finish and waited for it for almost 9 months! I showed up great, love it. I know you will love it and they build great guitars!

Congratulations, superb and highly dependable guitars.
