GREAT playing by Mr. Lopes, but me thinx the video recording is drenched in reverb.....

It's the problem with youtube. If you listen to it on normal crappy computer speakers, you don't notice the reverb. Through headphones, the reverb is overdone. That said, it is great playing and a great arrangement.

Indeed. In this era when so many musicians "emote" to a ridiculous level, it is fun to watch someone playing who is clearly enjoying playing. I literally cannot watch many players because of their theatrics, which seem so fake and contrived.

I agree. The recording seems more geared to the typical YouTube user vs an audiophile listening on a a nice set of headphones or speakers. Of course, this is not necessarily an unreasonable thing to do, since it's a YouTube video after all...

Reverb choices aside, this was an absolutely delightful arrangement and performance.
