except a blue chip pick will last much longer, provided you don't lose it.

but at least we don't play the cello:

Cool Guitar String Pricing

WOW!!! Now, I used to complain about the cost of T-E Superlonas, at $19 a set, but I guess that's just small change. That puts Yo-Yo Ma in a completely different light.

I wonder if he saves his old strings and sells them???

Glen

I saw those strings about a week ago. I wondered what in the world would make a set of nylon guitar strings worth $63? $63 would net me several sets of decent nylon and steel strings for both guitars.

Sure, as are cellos and any orchestral instrument but I have to tell you I cringe when my violinist breaks a string because I know how much he's about to spend.

yes, cello and double bass strings probably last a very long time.

i know this is one of those weird amazon seller bogus inflated prices, but i thought of this thread.

a set of ukulele strings for $99,999 CAD:

Yikes, for $63 I'll stick to the D'Addario EJ46 and get 9-10 sets for that price.
If I break a stung and inevitably I do, $10 is gonna rob my Starbucks allowance. :0
