Default It’s bound

A little shellfish around the top.

W/b/w purfling lines keeping things simple on the back letting the wood do the talking here

A little mineral spirits to show the color

This guitar gets a tube soundport lining. I'm fond of these because artistically it adds depth to opening and yet does not attract so much attention that it becomes a decorative feature. That's my old school preferences showing.

Thanks bro. I appreciate your reticence. That often keeps me from heaping praise on your works when it’s more than deserved.

WOW--this is looking really tasty!

And I really how you do the tube soundport--very classy.

I always get a smile when I see the tasteful green touch you put in the tube on Fen!

Smile Yow!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL, gents !!!

Mike has commissioned yet another KILLER, and John definitely has delivered

I give this a very slim chance of making it to B.I.G…..

Mike we expect a review soon, please

Paul

Mike who??? Based on my experience with Johns guitars and what I’m seeing here which is really pretty, I’d say the chances of this guitar making it to BIG would be between slim and none…and as they say Slim just left town .

That’s a really classy looking guitar. The Brazilian popped and looks so good. And the lucky strike top, with the burst, is just beautiful. Congratulations to you and Mike both on a great looking guitar.
