Default LR Baggs M1a wire clips position

Hello forum members
I bought recently a M1a which I’m really happy with.
I already had a drilled hole on my Gibson advanced jumbo so the installation was really easy. I did not attach the internal wire yet.
I plan to add the pickup only for band rehearsals and for a gig every now and then.
So I’m wondering where to position the wire clips smartly in order to leave enough length to catch the cable without loosening the strings each time to mount the pickup, but on the other hand avoid cable rattling.
Any advice would would be highly appreciated.
Best wishes paul

I'm just about to do this, had the cable clipped to the lower bout on the previous guitar.

But I tend to leave the M1A in place as I only use the guitar for gigs as I have others for playing at home.

It shouldn't matter too much if the last clip is close to the pickup.

Interested to hear what others suggest.
