Default Whooppee - I'm going under the knife!

I had trigger finger surgery on my left hand in 2018 (I think) by a charming lady surgeon, who told me those lumps in my palms were Dupuytrens contracture, whilst cutting through my right hand palm.

I've been waiting for the NHS to do my left hand since 2019.
since then that lady has retired and the NHS is seemingly being dismantled, so today, I cut the corner and paid to see the local hand surgeon, who examined my left hand and has promised to get me in to have the double procedure (middle and ring) in the next two months!

We spent a fair amount of time discussing guitars!

Maybe , by the time I've recovered from the surgery, there might be some liberty to go out and play again!

Well an old man can dream!

Hope you're up and fretting in no time, but don't fret...I mean fret when your hand feels better. You got this, Andy!

You keep dreaming, Andy. And all us old men and women will keep dreaming right along with you.
All the best, with great results from your upcoming procedure! I’ll be looking for new videos from you next year, my friend.
Happy New Year,
Frank D.

One of my bandmates just had his left hand done for something very similar. It's been 2 weeks and he says he's about 85% back to normal - you're gonna come out of it just fine, and sooner than you may think. Good luck!
