Default Electric guitar into Fishman pre-amp?

I play a small Martin acoustic with an HFN pickup fed through a Fishman Platinum Stage pre-amp into a Loudbox mini. I'm only a beginner and only play for myself and to torture my wife.

I'm getting my first electric guitar, a used Ibanez AM93 I got off Reverb, and am wondering if there's any issue in playing it through the Fishman pre-amp and the Loudbox Mini.

I've looked up some small tube amps for when I want to check out that sound and the inexpensive ones come with very basic tone controls. Would it be OK then to play the electric guitar trough the Fishman pre-amp into the tube amp?

I don't have the Fishman preamp but I do have a Loudbox Artist and I ran my electric guitars into that, through a distortion pedal, for years with no issues and it worked well enough for me that I never bothered getting an electric amp.
