Yeeesh! I gig regularly with an X2 — been using it for nine months or so now — and have had zero issues with it. One more thing to worry about now!

Do make sure the Ditto X2 is programmed for the correct sequence before calling it dead. The loop button sequence is usually modified by holding a particular button on when the unit is powered up. I tried downloading the firmware dated May, 2018 again today. It is like the download happens;since I can see a green light blinking. The green li9ght on the x2 stops blinking and goes out. The instructions say there should be an auto reboot. There is nothing to indicate that a reboot happens. There are no lights at all that come on after that. I can get a grren light to appear when plugged to my pc via usb, but no lights come on when plugged into my 1-spot. Anything else to try? I sent an email to tc support a few days ago, but have heard nothing. |

I probably should have mentioned that I tried the factory reset AND
the HARD reset....no light ever appears in either case. thx. |

I usually go thru SW, but I got the X2 at Musician's Friend.
Still, it is covered by the Manufacturer ltd warranty; somebody should fix a 4 month old unit. The Warranty in this case, says to return it to the seller. I guess Teleplucker decided it wasn't worth the hassle.....I may, also. Meanwhile, no more TC or MF for me. |

I’ve had my X2 since they first came out; encountered a glitch early on that was fixed once I updated the firmware; gigged extensively with it ever since, still going strong. Guess I got lucky. I’ve also had great service from them. Emails were promptly responded to. I lost the metal ring around the foot switch and they mailed me extras free of charge!

My emails got to a real person at music-tribe and was handled promptly.
After verifying my purchase, they have shipped a new unit to me and a label to return the old one. You cannot ask for more than that. ! So, TC/music-tribe goes way high on the good-guy list. Musicians Friend…..not so much. |
