I was in Mike's shop about 2 weeks ago and saw that guitar sitting on the bench, very beautiful. Mike is a super cool guy, and a great guitar builder. I am also thinking of trying some double sides, very stable, plus the tulip wood on the inside is just neat looking.

man, that is coming along nice! I can't wait to see the end. What binding are you doing on that guitar? I love what mike does with his rosettes. He is very creative and definitely pushing the envelope!

I visited Mike's shop to take him the PU and a set of my strings. This was my first in-person look at things. I swore that I wouldn't be bugging him about the progress, etc. so I've stayed away.
The box is now closed, and I think that he was going to put the bindings on after I left. It truly is a beauty so far. The headstock plate is beautiful. And I love the detail of the tuner buttons. The sound is by far the most important thing to me, but it sure is going to look great too! Sorry, I forgot to take pictures (ducking!) Jenn
