Post Song Suggestions for Amicus

Hi Everyone,

While waiting for my Amicus I thought I would ask for suggestions for songs that would lend itself to this little critter. Here are some of my thoughts:

* Your body is a Wonderland - Mayer
* Fences - Kaki King (Tuning: DD AA DD FG AA DC)
* Meet Me at Mary’s Place - Springsteen
* Atlantic City - Springsteen
* Forever Young - Rod Steward
* Shipping Up to Boston - Dropkick Murphys
* Here Comes the Sun - Beatles

What do you think?????

My first thought would be to play melodies of “Fiddle Tunes”, if you’re into that.

Fixed,

If her body is a wonderment but surrounded by fence, why would I want to meet you at Mary's place?

I went to Atlantic City once, I was forever young back then. Did a boat cruise that shipped from Boston. Not much a boat person, really looked forward to the dawn & every morning I would sing "here comes the sun."

Pretty nice play list if you ask me.

Beatles are good!

Blues in the “E shape” are good too.

My answer is any celtic/folk music. I've been curious how an amicus would be in that setting. I would use it in place of a mandolin.

Fixed;

You better get busy. We're expecting sound tracks of the suggestions, and maybe videos.

Look up Going to My Hometown, as performed by Rory Gallagher. I think this would be a riot on an Amicus.

I enjoy playing traditional Irish dance tunes (jigs, reels, slip jigs etc) on my Amicus.

I also enjoy playing "Here Comes The Sun" and "Norwegian Wood" as a medley on my Amicus.

As well as whatever else it occurs to me to try.

I mostly play my Amicus late at night when I'm too tired to play my guitar.
