Oddly enough, I find myself a bit pleased that he's letting the grey show now - it's a good look for him (much more so than the dye) and possibly a sign that he has become very comfortable with where he is in life!

News today from Billboard - Paul’s new album is his first #1 Billboard 200 chart topper in 37 years, giving him a 48 year reign as a SOLO artist - so add the Beatles and that would push him past Streisand’s 51 year record.

I saw him about 5 years ago and it was absolutely incredible. 3 hours of mostly Beatles material, including a John and George song, and some Wngs and solo Paul sprinkled in. The band was top notch and scaled to provide the full George Martin studio sound the 4 Beatles could never do live (they didn’t even try after ‘66).

I’ve got tickets to see hm October 5 at Austin City Limits festival, where he’s headlining the first night two weekends in a row. His recent Youtube Grand Central Station concert was a bit raw (particularly his voice), so I’m hoping he gets some rest. BUT, still the man has amazing energy to keep this up at 70+. Gray hair or not, he’s like a fountain of youth still on the atttude front.

Paul, thanks for your post. I believe one could make an argument that PM is a walking example of how optimism, class and good humor enhance longevity.

Thumbs up

I don’t get why so many people here were crying.
I had a smile on my face the whole time.
What a wonderful video.

Sincerely, people are over joyed. The Beatles were that exceptional. And God knows we need a dose of their brand of musical magic.
