I JUST played an E20oo and E10oo on my way home from work this evening. It was the first time I've seen an E20oo in person. I own, and preferred, the E10oo personally.

If you're driving distance from Memphis they're here:

http://www.martinmusicguitar.com/

They're not on their website yet.

Actually, they seem to be selling for above $1600, based on the adds I've seen on the web.

Nice sounding guitar!

Thank you, sir. One of the best songs ever written.

I'm interested in buying an Eastman electric T486 which is similar to Gibson ES345/355. I haven't found any in New England that I can try/buy in person. The nearest dealer that has one in stock is in New Jersey.

Finding Eastman guitars to try in person has always been a challenge, but never as much as in the last two years. They seem to be catching up, but a lot of dealers only stock a limited number of models, which forces buyers to shop online.

I've fallen into a James Taylor rabbit hole lately and I'll be danged if my little $500 cedar-top Eastman hasn't become my go-to guitar for this application.

Bob, I wanna get one of those. The reviews have been through the roof on them.

Would you contact my wife and tell her why I need it?

Scott

Why hadn't I thought of that?

Hey, Bob, here's one of the funniest things I ever saw on AGF. About four years ago, a member posted the following:

Uh-Oh. My wife just found out you can change the strings on a guitar.

So, please, don't tell my wife -- or ANY wife.

All the Best,
Scott

Finally found an Eastman T486 today. The dealer (Ray Mullins Music Swansea, MA) had 3 in stock. This one followed me home.

I owned a Gibson ES345 from 1980 until 2016. This guitar is equal in every way, except it lacks the crappy neck, opague finish, and wonky stereo/varitone wiring.

Nice score. I've been waiting for a used one ini that color to come up for sale with the SD pickups for a while.
