Yes, Dominic Miller plays K Yairi guitars, and I like his music so much that I have a custom nylon string coming from the K Yairi shop in a month or two. Had to have a friend hand deliver the order to a Tokyo dealer, but working with the shop directly since then on email has been great.

I have had guitars made by a few great luthiers…Steve Kinnaird, Simon Fay, Charis, and ongoing with Mark Hatcher…wonderful experience seeing their master skills!!

McKnight Guitars! Tim and Mary are some of the nicest people I've met here on the AGF and I know there are some amazing guitars coming out of Morral, Ohio. I believe their daughter is also building guitars too.

Probably a Henderson. An acquaintance managed to trade for one and I'll get to check it out in a month or so. I'd never pay those ridiculous second hand prices but it'll be fun to check out nonetheless.

Dion James. I don't think I can justify the cost anytime soon though.

Froggy Bottom.

It would probably be my last guitar purchase as I approach the end of my playing days.

I played one once, and was mesmerized.

For many years I’ve made a point of visiting guitar shops and dealers while travelling for work. It makes the work trips more fun and gives me an education. So I’ve played dozens of different boutique and single luthier fingerstyle guitars. It’s incredible to experience the diversity of form and function on offer across a range of prices and it helps me make informed decisions when I do buy.

I have never tried a Casimi though (http://www.casimiguitars.com). Incredible reviews go with stratospheric pricing and 'distinctive' visuals. I don’t know if I would buy one (if I even could!) but it’s top of my list to at least try.

I’d like to play a few new ones: Rufus Thames, Hiroshi Suda, and Jackson Cunningham. I’d also like to try a Pre War Guitars 12 fretter.

I’ve gotten my hands on several of the greats but a few that I haven’t played are a Greenfield, Manzer, Laskin, and Wayne Henderson.

Some of the greats I’ve been privilege to play are, Traugott, Kim Walker, Olson, Somogyi, Ryan, Matsuda, Circa and several other gifted builders.

I’d love to see or play a Linda Manzer guitar. Never seen one in the wild! I have so much respect for one of her innovations, the ‘Manzer’ wedge. It’s an evolutionary step forward for the guitar in my opinion.

Taran. I live less than an hour away from Rory Dowling’s workshop and have been following his work on this forum and on his website for a few years. The guitars are well out of my budget range, but I would still love the chance to play one.

Would not mind getting my hands on a Kim Walker OM or SJ.

Santa Cruz has that FS model I was drooling over a while ago. I don't think anyone had any in stock at the time I was buying so I went with the Pellerin. I have it bookmarked though for future reference.
