I had totally forgotten what a great campfire song Sound of Silence is (everyone knows it - sort of); I'll add it to my list for this summer's sessions. Which Martin model is that you are playing. A friend has a D-16 (I think?) and that sounds very similar.

I'm learning to flatpick and fingerpick guitar to accompany songs. I've played and studied traditional noter/drone mountain dulcimer for many years. And I used to play dobro in a bluegrass band.
