My fan fret X30 pretty much lives in drop D & DADGAD. I swear who ever invented DADGAD was visualizing a fan fret X30 in their minds eye. It's a perfect combo. Several people have asked if it's a baritone.

With the shorter scale lengths the mids and highs have plenty of definition and chime while the lows maintain punch and articulation.
