Default We need a "Play" sticky, IMHO

We're always getting the same basic questions asked and this is a good thing, btw, but to make life easier how about a "sticky" for some basic technique questions?

ie:

Barre chords : Practice them higher up on the neck. Don't over squeeze the neck. Practice, practice, practice.

Strumming: Yes, hold the pick firmly and perpendicular to your thumb.

Timing: Yes, tap your foot, play with others, play along with the song.

Estaban:No, he does not make good guitars.

You forgot a few other same basic questions that we see a lot, about...

the best strings,
the right picks,
the most bang for the buck under $xxx,
the most musical fingerstylist,
the best looking cutaway,
the most natural sounding pickup,
the easiest amp for a soloist with a mic and a crowd of under a hundred,
the most comfortable strap,
the easiest to use capo that doesn't pull strings out of tune,
the best song writer that no one's ever heard of,
the best looking moderator (just checking to see if you're still awake),
the most flexible acoustic effects pedal,
the coolest car,
the best beater for beach or campfire,
the most stunning burst finish,
the fullest Martin-sound that is not built by Martin,
the easiest guitar to take on commercial flights...

Yes, we often see multiples of the same types of questions around here. I think that's part of why we're here, for the conversation with friends. If all we wanted was a library of facts, there are better places to go. But if you want to talk about acoustic guitars and stuff, the AGF is TOPS!

Oh, and I just notices: we have a whole forum entitled "Play." Maybe that will help!
