Default Another Amazing Flat Top Friday

https://youtu.be/f30zTEJQt7M

Pre-war Gibson and Michael Lemmo together are just astounding. Much of the back story to this incredible guitar is missing, which would not have been the case with Mark Agnesi, but Lemmo's playing is other worldly.

Default Taylor Grand Pacific/Andy Powers Review

I just saw this video on Youtube.
Andy explains how he came up with the Grand Pacific.
Looks like he is after the more traditional players.
Not a bad move.

Those Grand Pacifics don't sound light on the bass on this clip, do they? Beautiful sound really. For me the jury is still out as to whether the Grand Pacific is as versatile as that J-35, but I enjoyed the video all the same.

They sound great. The interplay between the two guitarists was beautiful.

He's a monster and that guitar sounded incredible in his hands. He's a tremendous asset to the shop, and he does it all without that snarky too-cool-for-school attitude that Mark had (has).

I wonder if that 80 something year old Gibson has ever been tickled like that. He is amazingly good and the guitar sounded fantastic.

Really enjoying the Lemmo demos. He'll get more comfortable with the intro part of the videos... or he won't, and that's cool too b/c it will be part of his charm.
