Thanks for the pictures Keith! Sounds like you had a great visit at Jim's - must have been hard to leave...

Keith,
the neck is really cool again. Also, it is amazing how different these three guitars are.

You should post a report from the visit to Jim's shop.

Ever since they carved out the customs shop, these builds get no love.

see my post #8 in the sticky.

However, yours has already 5,800 views, although I guess it is only 100 third parties and the rest is yourself

To some extent, there is also an inflation of high-class builds.

There are 6 pages of posts on this thread, what are you looking for 10? lol

I think that the "love" gets spread around more evenly now because all of the builds are lumped together so people can look through more than the random thread they happen upon when looking through the Main forum.

By the way, your Dread looks AMAZING, I really don't think I have ever seen another Olson Dread. I bet it is going to be a boom machine!

It is just interesting to me... this thread has 80 posts and 5,815 views, and my Olson 1301 build had 333 posts and a staggering 26,118 views. I had 138 posts at the same point in the build on 1301.

Ok, my contribution =83 posts

Amazing guitar. I have lost my initial infatuation with Dreadnoughts and will soon have none. But the Olson Dread would change my mind in a heartbeat!!!

My Olson dread is my favorite to regularly play, though it is not Brazilian.

Hi Keith:
WOW...really???...even over 1301? Tell us why good man, tell us why, and be detailed...no skimping on the details! };-)

You and LJ seem to be in agreement on that...there must be something in the "Olson Dread" water that you guys are drinking???

Very Best Regards

Well I play the dread because strumming acoustic is more of what I do. 1301 is obviously a better sounding guitar, but I have never played 1301 out. I always play the dread out and have been playing the Ryan Nightingale #72 SS also out lately.

His dreads are really outstanding guitars... in my opinion, my dread stomps on the D-42 my bandmate plays. Well in his opinion too LOL
