Default Electrics with 2 1/8 to 2 1/4 bridge string spacing?

Could you recommend current or discontinued model electric guitars with an ~1.75" nut and 2 1/8 to 2 1/4 bridge string spacing?

My D'Angelico Excel Archtop has a 1 11/16 spacing at the nut. 25.5" Scale
It feels comfortable to me. I have a couple of Larrivee Acoustics with 1 3/4 nuts and I can't tell the difference.
I don't know what the string spacing at the bridge, but it is similar to my acoustic guitars.

You are grasping at straws, unfortunately.

It is the exact reason I assemble my own electrics using Warmoth necks, and sometimes Warmoth bodies.

My main Telecaster build has a 'boatneck' profile 1.75" nut with and the Gotoh bridge is 2.125" spacing.

In order to get slightly wider bridge spacing I've used the Schaller 3D bridge which is very adjustable.

Here's the Telecaster:

Here is my Strat build which I've named Shelley for obvious reasons:

And here's a second Tele build which I'm about to put on the market:

This last one is a slab-strat build but it has a 1 & 7/8" neck, again with a Schaller 3D bridge which gets close to 2.25" string spacing if desired:

They're not difficult to put together if you're handy, but if not they're very easily 'had' by employing a good tech who will listen to your needs.

Howard Emerson

Any guitar with a Gibson style Tune-o-matic can be custom notched.

Nice builds! Also, this was going to be my suggestion too. OP could build from the ground up or, depending on one's budget, could pick up an inexpensive MIM and order a replacement neck from Warmoth with the desired specs...bearing in mind that a really nice neck from Warmoth would be quite a bit higher price than an MIM Strat.

All of which is simply to say that there's more than one way to skin the proverbial cat.

Max,
None of the Warmoth necks cost me more than $220 with stainless steel fretwire. With nickel silver they're generally $180. I also make & install the bone nut which costs extra from Warmoth.

I also do the finishing.

Howard
