Yes - that’s no problem, and James has simple instructions on how to do it -

But with it tucked in under the lip of the sound hole, it’s really not a problem, and makes quick volume adjustments really simple. And it doesn’t affect tone or EQ the way many other volume controls do. I’d say try it - then take it out if you really don’t like it -
