1951 Epiphone Cneutyr Spanish
That title is not a typo, at least not by me. Thats what the New York paper label says through the F-hole. Its hilarious to make that big of a typo in a moveable type . Maybe hammered out in an old typewriter? Any body else with a NY epiphone cneutyr?

The model names were added by typewriter on Epiphone labels - I have seen other typos on those labels but not quite that crass ... can you show a pic?

This guitar was actually previously registered at the unofficial ser# list. If you can upload the pic to that listing go for it.

Thanks. Hilarious typo! It is so bad I can't really imagine this happened accidentially - the guitar appears to have been built in 1951 around the time Epiphone factory workers went on strike ...

I get the picture. Disgruntled workers typing passive aggressive messages on guitar labels. Its like the old joke about the note in the fortune cookie that said Help, im being held prisoner in a chinese noodle factory.
But with guitars. |

1951 Epiphone Cneutyr Spanish
Maybe they thought the shop foreman was snooty - or worse...
