Whiskey In The Jar, Thats a great old Irish Tune. Do you do it traditional or like the Thin Lizzy version?

I haven't heard the Thin Lizzy version... I have heard the Metallica version. It's fun to hear such radically different treatments, but I play more traditional style.

The Thin Lizzy version of Whiskey in the Jar is great. Thin Lizzy was/is a great band.

Not counting my own originals ("Because We Can," "Canadian For a Day," "Caffeine,""Safe Home" and "My Dad's Harmonica" seem to strike visceral emotions):
'52 Vincent Black Lightning (on dulcimer) Diamonds & Rust and with my singing partner Steve: The Dutchman (when we're not doing it as "The Conman," which either has people rolling on the floor or furious that we'd dare parody such a beloved song) These Cowboys You Never Even Call Me By My Name (seems EVERYONE knows the chorus and loves to sing along)
