I'm not sure if this counts but my dad is a farmer. He's pretty passionate about it and doesn't have any other hobbies. It's possible that I'm named after a grain bin. I'd ask him about it but I'd rather not know.

I was talking to a friend of mine about this thread yesterday, who is not an AGF member nor a musician, and he told me this one:
The last name of the choir director/pianist at his church is Music. Yep, Mrs Music.

Our daughters took dance lessons from Gloria Dance.
There was a vet in a small town where we lived called Dr. Slaughter....we did not take the cat there. The sheriff is the same town was Sheriff Justice.

I taught a weight training class at Arizona State in 1983. There were two sisters in the class with the last name Beach.
One was named Sandy. I don't remember the other one's name.
