Default BB Guns

I grew up in the sticks and still live there. From about 9 years old I have loved my bb gun for all sorts of reasons and still do. Anyone else?

Well I don't honestly know offkey. I've never even seen your bb gun

Daisy Red Rider. I hide it in the closet so you can't see it!

My grandsons and their friends are into Airsoft. Just last week they were having a skirmish in a back yard with friends.

As a preteen, I longs for an airgun, and got a pistol called a "GAT". Fire it at a shed from six feet and will miss half the time.

Later, I got a Relum air-rifle .177.

Took it home, loaded it and aimed at a bird on the roof. Bang. I hit it. It rolled down into the gutter and flapped and squawked for some time.

I never aimed at a living thing again. Gave it away or swapped it for a bike, or something.

We always had one at home, a Daisy. I eventually bought a (I think) Crossman BB/pellet pistol in the shape of a 1911.

I absolutely love BB (and pellet) guns. Growing up we always were target shooting and plinking. I dislike (and have never gone) hunting but I love guns and target shooting.

I still have my Crossman 760 from when I was 9-ish.

Growing up my best friend had a fficial Red Ryder, carbine action, 200-shot, range model air rifle, with a compass in the stock

I shoot and have air rifles. I guess some BB guns too. I shot both a .25 cal pellet gun today as well as a .357 slug "pellet" air rifle. I have Edgun, FX, and Airforce PCP guns and an old Sheridan I bought in '68 or so.

Got all kids of shotguns, rifles and a few pistols but I love my bb and pellet guns. I remember getting my first BB gun like it was yesterday..... a Christmas morning..... the last two gifts under the tree.... dad made me open the smallest one first, it was a box of 5000 bbs. Took me way longer than it should have to realize what the final box was but once it sunk in I dang near knocked the tree over getting it out. A red Ryder with the leather string on the side. I used it for years. Killed ground squirrels out of the garden and shot snakes every spring. I’m still a really good off hand shot with it. Them little things are fairly accurate.

Had a friend shoot at a rock (dumb) and the ricochet hit him in the eye right in front of us. Luckily it was a single-pump cheapo unlike the cross an multi-pumps we had and he didn’t lose it. Lucky kid.

We used to have a blast with BB and pellet guns all the time, hunting birds and having BB wars. We wore heavy jackets and ski goggles, but still incredibly dumb. Loved shooting though.

Got more use out of those gums than any other Christmas gift I can recall.
