Default Back w/Finish

Hello,

The Penelope crossover body returned today with the back and sides finished. The figure really came up nicely and just shimmers when you move it in the light. Here's a couple pictures,

Thanks!

Well thanks Billy and Tony! Now I can do the final fitting of the neck and will be starting the French polish sessions on the neck and soundboard.

Thanks Again-

Default More pics

I got the neck well fitted tonight and did a little more work on the neck in general. Here are some pictures with the guitar pieced together. There is no finish on the soundboard or neck but we're getting close to how it will look.

Thanks for viewing!

Hello,

I decided to go with a traditional clasical guitar bridge for the crossover. This is Cocobolo. I have bone edging. The ivory saddle doesn't get made yet;

Here it is on the guitar with the French polish sessions started;

Wow wow wow. What an exceptionally beautiful guitar.

And in the hands of a fine pro, I'm sure it'll sound killer.

Congrats.

Hello,

Here are some pictures of the finished Penelope crossover. I'll be shipping it out to Danny Combs this week and hopefully we'll get him to play it for us!

Mark,

AWESOME!

I can't remember if I told you but I really am going to have a book made of all the photos you've made for me during this process. They're amazing photos. Easily the highest quality of photos I've ever received during build.

Yes, I'll share sound clips...

Kindly,
Danny

Thanks Tom and Danny,

Danny, I really look forward to hearing the guitar in your hands.

Tom, I would love to see what you would do with one of these Koa sets.
Thanks for your compliments.

Mark

I love the shape of the neck at the sound hole and that rosette looks great!! As others have noted, the Koa is simply gorgeous!
