Some like to color within straight lines and some like to color outside the lines.

They say our wood is a function of our personality...I tend to go for those with the more attractive figure...maybe you like yours like a carpenters dream...straight as a board and never been...woops.

Forgot to post the picture of the box prepared to be completed. Sorry to repeat myself, but I really love the look of this grain and the black BRW accents for wedge etc.

Default Gwaltney update

Just got pictures from Greg, he is making great progress, too. You see pictures showing the side pieces in the bender, and the already bent pieces being epoxied together in the laminate jig. Lamination of the sides is part of Greg's efforts to increase stability of the guitar, which will become more obvious later when the carbon rods are added. Great to have a part-time builder, you always get updates on a weekend

Thought the same thing, Coke zero, but we want them to stay laminated for a while, right?

Hey guys,

Yeah, I made some more progress, unfortunately I didn't spend any time yet on new pics, I'll get some this weekend. I'm packing another one up this weekend for Joe White to finish as well, need to shoot pics of that one too....guess there will be no fishing trips this weekend.

Greg

Default Gwaltney update

Really cool to have two guitars on order because you get updates twice as often
The sides have really turned out nicely. The grain is wonderful and the wood is extremely dark. See yourself and have a good weekend all (including you, Greg

Why does that body look so deep to me?

That is some gorgeous wood you have there. What an awesome treat to have two such amazing builders working their magic for you at the same time!
