Aw, yes. Ken showcases his talents and the guitar nicely.

Thank you, Phil for sharing this.

Hi Phil,
Thanks for posting the recording. It sounds really nice; it would be great to be sitting in front of it and hearing it "unplugged".

Ken does a really nice job of bringing out the guitar's tone and capabilities. I had several conversations with him when I was considering a number of luthiers for the guitar I commissioned last year. Ken provided a lot of information, including some recordings, to help me get a sense of what Alan Carruth's instruments were like.

Ken told me that he didn't need a password to view the video - is that what everyone is finding? That's really odd, as I can *specifically recall* setting a password on that whole directory in Photobucket.

Thanks all!

Phil

I was very fortunate to be able to sit down with this guitar last night for a long while. It's one of the best I've played in a long time. Ultra responsive, with very impressive dynamic range. Effortless playability. Stunning to look at.... This one is a killer in every department

Is that JR's guitar in the foreground?

Yes Tim - JR came to the get together and brought the 'Texas Star' McKnight (or whatever you all named it!) and it was great. JR played it quite a bit and I was very impressed with the quality of the tone.

Cigarfan - no, it took a lot of work to arrange for Eric to be there! See the link in my signature for the AGF Oklahoma Gathering and related events.

I'll update the Gathering thread with some stories and pictures soon.

Phil
