Guitar players DO have a sense of humor, but it’s not necessarily refined...

As a guitarist, I have a great, somewhat twisted sense of humor, but I find that most folks on the AGF and elsewhere are pretty boring, straight-laced, whatever. They have NO sense of humor, what so ever, Sad.

A fellow is on a stroll through the country and he comes to a large, walled estate and at the front gate there is a sign that says "Greenwood Mental Facilty." He continues to walk and then he begins to hear dozens of voices chanting from behind the tall walls. They're saying "Twenty-eight. Twenty-eight. Twenty-eight. Twenty-eight. Twenty-eight."

As the chanting goes on and he continues his stroll, his curiosity finally gets the best of him. He spots a hole in the wall around the facility and decides to take a peek through to see what they're chanting about. The second he puts his eye to the hole a finger pokes out and jabs him in the eye.

He stumbles back in surprise and pain, clutching his eye and cursing. The he hears the chant resume.

"Twenty-nine. Twenty-nine. Twenty-nine. Twenty-nine. Twenty-nine....."

A prisoner in jail receives a letter from his wife: "Dear husband, I have decided to plant some lettuce in the back garden. When is the best time to plant them?" The prisoner, knowing that the prison guards read all mail, replies in a letter:

"Dear wife, whatever you do, do not touch the back garden. That is where I hid all the money." A week or so later, he receives another letter from his wife. "Dear husband, you wouldn't believe what happened. Some men came with shovels to the house and dug up the back garden." The prisoner writes back: "Dear wife, now is the best time to plant the lettuce."

Vocalistas. Vocalistas classically think guitar players have no sense of humor.

There. Now you know.
