Default For sale Guild JF-4

This is a guild jf-4 jumbo. It is solid spruce top and arched mahogany back and sides. This is a cannon! Kind of rare too. You don’t find to many of these around. Made in the USA at the westerly plant. Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Action is awesome and has the easiest neck I have ever played. It has a fishman pickup. Also comes with a case. Case not in great shape but is original and does the job. Plenty of room on the saddle. There are some scratches and wear marks and some light age checkering but that is because it loves to be played! If you are looking for an American made jumbo and do not want to spend thousands of dollars this is your guitar! Let me know if you have any questions. $800 OBO plus what ever it costs to ship it to you. It is for sale on reverb too.

Well it might be easier if I tell you. It is in inches. So you want acoustic guitars to have between .070-.098 inches of string height. But really that is a preference. To high it is hard to play to low and you get buzzing. This is set in between not to high and no buzz. Plenty of room on the saddle if you wanted it lower. This is strictly personal preference but also shows if there is a need for a neck reset. If the action or strong height too high and not enough saddle to bring it down then a neck reset may be the only way to make it comfortable to play. Hope that helps.

I think we'd need another photo to confirm that since the saddle looks pretty low in that one shot....

Otherwise, good looking jumbo!

Thanks! Man, that's a good price, too, for a Guild jumbo! Best of luck with the sale!
