Marshall as50d crackles
Its only a few months old and started making a periodic sizzlung/crackling noise. Last for a few seconds to a minuet. It even does it when i pull the cord out of the amp and turn the volume all the way down. I tried the other input and no difference. It really gets annoying
I may play for an hour and then out of no where it does it.

I'm guessing you have capacitors going bad, or cold solder joints. It might not be all that difficult to diagnose or repair, then again it could be. It probably wouldn't hurt for you to open it up and take a look. Bad caps are have obvious bulges on the top. Cold solder joints can be a little tougher to identify, but they're super easy to fix.
That said, if it's only a few months old, it's probably under warranty and probably worth talking to Marshall about. Hopefully they have an authorized repair shop in your area. |

Well here is the problem, it was my cell phone causing it. I read where they can cause problems with audio equipment so i dont have it near the amp and no more problems
