3 degree pins? Aren't Martins 5 degrees?

Guitar looks awesome! I'd love to get my hands on a Jumbo Martin at some point. GLWS!

I believe Martin is no longer tapering their bridge pin holes at all anymore. They used to be 5 degrees back in the day, but are now straight. Their pins are still tapered, but bridge holes are not. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I was once, you know .....

I’m not really a Martin guy...but man that is nice! You could probably convert me with that beauty. I’m sure someone’s gonna be very happy....good luck with the sale.

That's true they are straight these days but they come with 5 degree I believe from the factory.

I have a newer J-40. It has only improved its sound over the short three years of its life. It’s the best sounding guitar I’ve ever played. IMHO
It’s the best of my little quiver as well.
Huge J-40 fan here.
