That's a beautiful guitar. I play a Taylor 655 12-string. It is sooooo easy to play.
And the back is pretty too!

I have 3, a Ryan Cathedral (Brazilian/Redwood), a Schenk FE (Mahogany/Carpathian), and a Martin J12-15 (Sapele). Soon I'll have my first lefty, a Schenk Ophirio RD (EIR/Adirondack). Pictures at http://stringsnthings.org/hsguitar/new.html

Takamine F400 from about 1975, it's a copy of the Martin D12-28. Has a ply top, whereas the Takamine F400S (Which I used to own but sold when I bought a genuine Martin D12-28) had a solid Spruce top. It sounds just fine, using light (compound silk & steel) strings.

Similarly, Larry Pattis and others will cite that although nut width is the most common measurement (and, I'd say, useful for comparison), the string-to-string spacing at the nut is what counts. For 12-string??? Outer to outer is the easiest to measure, course to course the more meaningful. Regardless, I'm most interested to get a first approximation to compare the dimensions that I'm familiar with (the LKSM) to the Fraulini and Hauver guitars.

Giannini Craviola, not the easiest to play (but not to bad either) as the neck is on the thick side (but I assume a lot of early 70's guitars had thicker necks) but it sounds great, is super comfortable and has that great Craviola shape.

'02 Ovation 6751. Slight bear claw solid sitka top. Sounds great amplified or unplugged. I was totally surprised when I played it. I never expected an Ovation to sound that good unplugged. Bought it for a steal at Mars Music when they were going out of business.

I own a Seagull SM12 that I have had for a couple of weeks, and I really like it. I used to own a Takamine TF281DLX but ended up trading it off. The Seagull has the Takamine beat tonewise by a fairly wide margin (and I own some very nice Takamines, just never a 12 string before).
Someday when I am rich and infamous, I want to own a Guild 12 string. That would make me grin

I've had a few but the one I've settled on is my Breedlove Classic XII. To my ears, the best I've heard.
